- Examination: Our eye exams include a detailed medical and ocular history, eye pressure and corneal surface evaluation, visual acuity and prescription determination, a neurological assessment, and a detailed internal and external ocular health examination.
- Disease Assessment: You will also be carefully evaluated for many eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and retinal vascular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. As with other diseases, early detection, and your eye doctor’s care can make the difference not only in your vision, but also in your overall health and well-being. We offer digital retinal imaging via Optos to gain a wide-field visual of your retina. Images can be compared from year to year to uncover potential issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
- Computer Vision Syndrome: Most jobs now a days require chronic computer work. If so, it is likely that you experience symptoms associated with Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). CVS symptoms can include headaches; tired, stressed, or burning eyes; loss of focus; blurred or double vision; and even shoulder and neck pain. In this case, we may prescribe specific lenses in order to maximize your visual abilities and comfort while on the computer.
